 Clare Curtis

Clare Curtis is a printmaker and illustrator whose work beautifully captures the rhythm of nature and the character of the British landscape. Having studied Illustration and Printmaking at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, she has developed a distinctive style, with a strong focus on relief printmaking.

Drawing inspiration from her coastal surroundings in Felixstowe, Clare’s prints often explore the structure and patterns found in plants, gardens, and the natural world. Her bold compositions and intricate detailing bring a timeless quality to her work.

In addition to exhibiting her prints across the UK, Clare’s illustrations have been featured on books, cards, editorial projects, and packaging, showcasing her talent across multiple creative industries.

Clare: “I live by the sea, in the house I grew up in, originally my grandfather’s. This is where I print and create, surrounded by the landscapes that continue to inspire me. I’m delighted to share my relief print artwork at Mill Tye Gallery, a space that truly celebrates printmaking.”
