 Jeffrey Knight

With a passion for 20th and 21st century design Jeffrey Knight has started to create his own unique range of timepieces.

Designed to complement your interior space using a mix of contrasting timbers with a strong focus on the quality of the materials range finish, each clock is handmade in his workshop in Sudbury.

Jeffrey: “I grew up surrounded by clocks. My father was the ‘Knight’ of KNIGHT & GIBBINS, makers of fine wooden cased clocks for over 35 years, based in Sudbury. I chose to pursue a career in furniture making and after college I started making individual items of furniture before taking up employment with a prestigious cabinetmaking company. I now have over 25 years experience of fine woodworking, so when a friend asked me to make a mantel clock in a ‘mid century’ style, I was able to combine my skills along with the clock making experience of my father. Now, I am really pleased to be selling my work here at the Mill Tye Gallery, it is such a lovely location and the Gallery has the same passion for quality and design that I strive for in my own work.”
