Even though the Mill Tye Gallery is currently closed for its winter break, behind the scenes we’re busy preparing for the exciting year ahead. This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming landscape painter and sculptor Peter Partner, who stopped by to share some of his incredible work and discuss plans for his upcoming exhibition, Taking a View.

Peter’s art is inspired by the serene beauty of East Anglia’s coastline, capturing the interplay of light, water, and atmosphere in stunning detail. From reflective estuaries to vibrant harbours, his work celebrates the charm of the region we know and love.
On this bright, sunny day, we explored how best to showcase Peter’s paintings in the gallery space, taking full advantage of the natural light to highlight his masterful use of colour and form.
Taking a View opens with a special preview day on Saturday 5th April from 10:30am to 6pm, where visitors can enjoy drinks and nibbles while immersing themselves in Peter’s captivating work. The exhibition runs until Sunday 27th April, including the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, when the gallery will be open daily from 10:30am – 4:00pm.
Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks as we get closer to the event. We can’t wait to share Peter’s work with you!
Mark your calendars, RSVP and join us for what promises to be a beautiful celebration of coastal landscapes.
