At Mill Tye Gallery, we are proud to support local artists and makers, showcasing their creativity and craftsmanship to a wider audience. Our Spring Exhibition celebrates the diversity of talent across Suffolk, and we are delighted to introduce the work of emerging sculptor George Cooper.

About George Cooper

Based in Suffolk, 24-year-old George Cooper is a welder and fabricator with a passion for transforming steel into striking works of art. Through his creative practice, G C Sculptures, George captures the beauty and movement of wildlife — from sea creatures to land animals — using recycled and repurposed metal. Each piece is a unique reflection of his imagination and his deep connection to the natural world.

George’s work combines traditional fabrication skills with contemporary artistic vision, resulting in sculptures that are both intricate and expressive. His love for metalwork and wildlife shines through in every piece, and we are thrilled to present his work as part of our Spring Exhibition.

Our Spring Exhibition opens on Saturday 15th March from 10:30 to 6pm. To Discover more and to register your interest go to:
