 Tregear Pottery

Neil Tregear has a passion for pottery.  Trained in Kyoto, Japan, Neil continually pushes and challenges the boundaries

of modern pottery throwing, refining glazes, developing new designs and expanding his studio. He has been awarded

a number of grants, international show selections, and other accolades for the quality of his work.

Much of Neil’s pottery includes structure and patterns from the natural world – with flora and fauna, wildlife, sea and aquatic life, to name just a few.

Neil: “My pieces are made from a fine white stoneware clay and are hand decorated in a variety of designs – all taking inspiration and influences from the beauty of our surrounding landscapes. For Mill Tye Gallery, I will be exhibiting designs that include whitebait, seagulls and other wildlife.”
